The Center for Social Services Research (CSSR), established in 1994, conducts
research, policy analysis and program planning, and evaluation directed
toward improving the public social services. At the present time CSSR
consists of the following research units (as well as other sponsored
research by our faculty):

California Child Welfare Performance Project
Center for the Advanced Study of Aging Services
Mack Center on Mental Health and Social Conflict
Center for Comparative Family Welfare and Poverty Research
Health Research Group
Mack Center on Nonprofit Management in the Human Services
Center for Child & Youth Policy (an affiliate of the School)
National Abandoned Infants Assistance Resource Center (an affiliate of the school)
