Foster Care: Point-in-Time/Case Service Components

These reports examine children receiving services from county child welfare agencies by Service Component (Emergency Response, Family Maintenance, Family Reunification, and Permanent Placement), at a specific point in time during the analysis year.

Please note, as of the Quarter 2, 2010 data extract, counts of children receiving services from county child welfare agencies are based on the new CWS/CMS Case Agency Responsible code. Counts for Los Angeles County are larger than previously reported based on an alternate method. We are currently investigating the source of these discrepancies.
