Part of the Center for Social Services for Research (CSSR) at UC Berkeley, this research group is dedicated to improving services for the elderly through research, collaboration and education.

Child Welfare Research Center
This research group is also part of CSSR and provides groundbreaking research on a variety of child welfare issues including adoption, case management, foster care, and welfare reform.

Child Welfare Services Reports
This CSSR project produces timely and useful data about children in the California child welfare system using quarterly extracts from the Child Welfare Services Case Management System (CWS/CMS).

Institute for the Study of Homelessness and Poverty at the Weingart Center
A nonprofit organization that facilitates access to accurate data and research about homelessness and poverty, focusing principally on Southern California but also indexing materials of statewide, national and global importance.

National Abandoned Infants Assistance Resource Center
This center's mission is to enhance the quality of social and health services delivered to infants and young children affected by drugs or HIV, and their parents, by providing training, technical assistance, research, resources and information to professionals who serve these families.
