Nancy is a doctoral student in the UC Berkeley School of Social Welfare and has been working at the Center since 2000. She received an M.A. in gerontology from San Francisco State University and an M.S.W. from UC Berkeley. She has worked in various settings in the field of aging, including skilled nursing and residential care, hospice, and caregiver advocacy research. Her research experience has been in the areas of caregiving, long-term care insurance, case management, and long-term care integration. Her interests include health policy, long-term care policy, research methods, caregiving and ethical issues in long-term care.
