Michael Armijo has been with the California Children's Services Archive project since 1994. During that time he has had primary responsibility for computing infrastructure, standards for data, procedures and programming for the archive.
His professional interests include systems administration, systems and database performance evaluation and tuning, advanced SQL programming techniques, advanced use of both the UNIX programming environment and of the SAS System, and problems unique to integrating data from large, disparate administrative data systems into analysis data sets.
He enjoys working with the staff at the Center for Social Services Research, learning about child welfare issues, and contributing technical expertise to advance the mission of the Center.
